Shaver Series 5000 S5885/10 Wet & Dry electric shaver

Very effective shaver. I am always in a hurry when shaving and your product does an excellent job very fast. It lasts a long time on a charge and glides comfortably over the contours of my face. Thank you for an excellent product.

I have been using Philps shavers since the 1990s and this is far and away the best one I have ever used. The USB charging is a great move as I can now charge wherever I am. 1h to full charge is also convenient. My only small gripe is that it does not come with a protector cap for the foils.

It works well - all these years i used Bruan and really thought nothing shave as good. This shaver is very good! i was also skeptical because it use a usb cable to charge - but all good. Im very happy with my Phillips - its part of my morning routine now. Sometimes it screams like its dry - not sure what to do if i have to do something? I use alcohol once a month to clean the heads.

This is my 4th personal Philips shaver and one of many that I recommended/bought for family and friends. Cleaning them is just a bit difficult for a person with low or poor vision. Taking the blades and internal parts out and putting them back is not easy. Sometimes the head also opens too easily and spills the contents. Lid could be a bit more secure. But these are minor things. In general I am very happy.

The product in my opinion is excellent. I am 68 years old and have been using a three bladed razor to shave every day. Simply a chore. I decided I am no longer going to suffer from cuts, nicks and burning skin and the ridiculous price one has to pay for razor blades and shaving cream but instead am going to opt of a shaver and see how it goes. I only wish I had opted for a Philips shaver much earlier in life.

Shaves close and gets to all the areas. Very comfortable shave. Only criticism is that there is a fairly big gap from cutting area to the edge of the shaver, which makes it tricky when cutting under the nose or trying to do sideburns neatly.

It is so good that I have purchased my second 5000. For the smoothest and cleanest shave, no competition.

I have been using the shaver for 4 months & get excellent shaves every time, I'm now waiting to see how long the cutting heads last. So far I would recommend the Phillips Shaver to anyone who wants a clean shave every time!!
